The Quickest Way To Lose 10 Pounds Naturally

In this post I’d like to talk about the quickest way to lose 10 pounds. Why? Because it seems to be one of the top questions to cross the Internet. Hundreds of people are looking for the solution to lose 10 pounds each and every day on Google.

Most people, which will gain back the weight they lose initially. My hope for you is that is creating new habits for yourself, you won’t fall in that number.

1st remember that there is no such thing as a diet. Take that word out of your vocabulary.

Most people who use the word diet immediately believe, rightly so, that there will be a start and in empty. So if you decide to eat more vegetables, you’re only deciding to eat them temporarily.

I want to challenge your thinking and get you to buy into the fact that we’ve got to create habits that will in due or for the rest of my life. If we approach wait loss and as I like to call it weight gain avoidance, and weight loss will be much less of an uphill battle for us.

You see I believe that our job is to do our best to avoid gaining weight instead of losing it. Of course many of us are already in a position where we have additional pounds to lose. One third of Americans are overweight*.

Having said that let’s get started with some very practical, real world easy things you can do right now to lose 10 pounds.

Replace soft drinks, soda and juice with water. Many people balk at this suggestion and think it’s unnecessary. Consider that the average can of soda contains about 55 g of sugar or about 13 teaspoons of sugar and you’ll see why this is the easiest things you can do to lose weight. If you’re a big fan of canned fruit, fruit juices, instant oatmeal or cereals, or yogurt such as Yoplait, then stop evening it is well. On average, these foods contain anywhere from 3240 g of sugar as well.

Eat breakfast. I’m not talking about having all-you-can-eat pancakes at IHOP. I’m not even talking about having a high routine acting sins breakfast either consisting of only bacon and eggs.

I could recommend some pretty outlandish things to you about what to put on your breakfast plate, but for right now I’ll keep it simple and doable.

Your breakfast plate should contain very little sugar and protein you can use. Backing be yogurt, cheese, and eggs, bacon, sausage, or anything carbohydrates, make sure their whole-grain along that figure. If you’re going to have and you’re not smothering them with sugar like jellies or syrup.

If you can slowly begin the process of eating breakfast regularly, you will train your body to let go of excess fat and calories that it believes it needs. You see, when you don’t eat breakfast, and your body stays in a fasting mode from the night before, you’re essentially telling your body that there is some sort of crisis and it needs to preserve those extra calories it has laying around for future use. Consider it the body’s way of being efficient. It may however be keeping additional belly fat around your middle. So do yourself a favor and start eating breakfast. Start within Apple, or a piece of fruit that you like if you’re not into the idea of a full breakfast.

Add vegetables to your plate. I know this seems basic and elementary, but you’d be surprised at how many meals Americans actually enjoy that have new vegetables on them. If you’re really serious about taking your 10 pound weight loss to the next level, then make sure that half of your plate consists of vegetables. Add vegetables to your plate will go a long way in ensuring that you’re giving your body the necessary micronutrients it needs on a cellular level, providing fiber for positive elimination when you potty, and you actually be giving your body the necessary roughage it needs to get rid of fat cells and toxins in your body. I’m not suggesting that you become a vegetarian, but newer shout studies have shown that vegetarians have a lower risk of several chronic illnesses as well as degenerative diseases such as cancer.

Start stretching. I’m tempted to go a step further and ask you to walk 3 or 4 times a week for 30 min. But you’ve probably already canceled that out and that’s probably why you’re trying to lose 10 pounds. You don’t want to work out, right? Do us both favor and get a yoga mat. Once you get the yoga mat, I want you to find a place in your house where you can actually lay on the floor. If that place doesn’t exist, I want you to create.

We are going to start the process of getting back in touch with our bodies. When you start the process of getting back into your body, you’re going to see that there is life going on everywhere inside of you. Even the life you choose to ignore. Your blood is moving, the lymphatic fluid is circulating throughout the body, and there are all kinds of other processes happening in the body without us doing anything. The body is an amazing machine!

My job is to help it do its job better. Stretching is going to do a few things for you:

1st off, it’s going to remind you that it’s there your body provides so much for you. Yet, most of us take it for granted. We assume that our backs, spine, legs, etc. are going to do the work for us day in and day out without anything or maintenance.

If we treated our cars half as poorly as we treated our bodies, our local mechanics would be rich. You see, we know that we’ve got to change your oil every so often. So why are we so reluctant to do the same things with our body?

So start today. Get on the floor and stretch. I don’t care if you don’t have any experience stretching, the information is all around you. All you have to do is go to do to. You’ll find lots of free videos on stretching and doing yoga. also has a good channel by Gaiam.

Once you’ve experienced stretching and really getting back into your body for while, then I want you to go over and read my article on walking and the benefits of walking. But for now, let’s just get you off the couch and onto the floor. This is going to become our sacred space and our sacred time to exercise and move our bodies. What better way than the sacred art of yoga.

The last thing I want you to do is work on getting stronger. While you’re down there on the floor stretching or thinking about stretching, I want you to begin to think about getting stronger. Remember those push-ups and pull-ups we all had to do in elementary school? (Well at least when I was a kid we had to do that). I want you to begin to think about and consider that the body will only change when you challenge it.

I’m not saying you have to go all P90x or Mike Chang’s shortcut abs on me or even join a boot camp. I’m just saying that the body responds well to change. After all, something in your life had to have changed for you to gain those 10, 20, 30, or even 40 pounds that you’re trying to lose. What was it? And how did you get here? Now is the time to reverse that process and figure out how to never get there again.

So I am more than confident that putting these things into place over the next 30 days will help you lose 10 pounds. I never said it was easy and I never promised that you could do it in 3 days or overnight. That would be reckless and irresponsible of me to consider. Plus, using just these simple things you can lose a lot more weight.
